Nordic Beads & Silversmith was founded 2005 by Irma & Kevin Boyd as a physical Jewelry/Bead store in New York. The store was closed April 2007 due to required relocation by the US Army. In an effort to keep the spirit of Nordic Beads & Silversmith alive Irma & Kevin opened this online storefront.
Jewelry Artisan and Army Wife Irma Boyd brings together a wide range of exquisite, unusual and unique beads and silver in her handcrafted jewelry. Her jewelry is inspired by God's creations which she reflects through careful selection of color and pattern to achieve depth and perspective in her designs.
When Irma is not making jewelry, she teaches private lessons and group classes on a variety of jewelry techniques. She also supports her husband''s career in the US Army.
